The novel begins with Jon learns that his mother once a year to go to Maine to attend a remote island with his lover. ItsMother had just died and his sister, Sarah, asks him to go to Maine to give the news to his mother's lover. It is convenient, because Jon has trade relations with neighboring Bain Iceland with the mayor.
Victor Powell, the Mayor of Bain Iceland asks her daughter Maddie to go to the Rose and Iceland to meet his beloved. He could not go because he had the care of his ex-wife, who is sitting in a wheelchair. Maddie reluctantly agrees.
Jon and Maddie on the ferry over to meet. You arrive at the hut, butnot two two together because they're there. Instead, the secrets of a heavy storm traps in the hut and the two sides personally. Jon and Maddie try to leave the house, but the storm forced them back to the bunker. Unable to contain his spark more flammable, they share a night of passion. The next morning we split up, after promising to meet in a year.

Kaye's writing is easy to read and immediately take the reader with well-kept secret of Jon and the family of Maddie. Their dialogue is realistic and the plot is tight.
Kaye descriptions are perfect intonation. It uses the five senses to paint a vivid and parablesMaine scene.
Their characters are wonderfully complex. This is a story with substance. Jon is obsessed with the alcoholic father and want something in life. Maddie is not possible to establish an emotional connection with her mother. Surprisingly, both Jon and Maddie find that emotional relationship.
"Your Maine Man" is an ambitious love story. Kaye love scenes between Jon and Maddie are hot and passionate, capturing a strong link betweenCharacters. "Your Maine Man" is a novel I could not down.
