I enjoyed this one the least so far. Too much of the plot was overshadowed with a "misunderstanding" between the hero and heroine - a mistake that usually only beginning writers make. This "misunderstanding" resulted in Cat becoming a weak shadow of her usual self - only regaining her normal spunk toward the end of the book. The author's overuse of the jealousy theme is also wearing very, very thin (another mistake usually only made by beginning authors). I hope she considers (please!) using other devices to increase tension in future books. The author redeemed herself toward the end of the book, however, when the plot and pace picked up in all respects, so I'm giving rounding this up from 3.5 to 4 stars instead of rounding it down to 3. Hopefully the next book will be better.
