The Sirens of Titan Book Review

Kurt Vonnegut Jr. 's second novel, tells The Sirens of Titan, the story of Malachi Constant, the richest man in America in the 22 Century, and Winston Rumfoord, a rich man stuck in a thing called infundibulum chrono. Rumfoord situation is the past, present and future (and the experience of them) to see at one time. Rumfoord uses his knowledge to handle many events, but as one of its key players Constant. The Sirens of Titan, takes the reader through time and space, visiting differentoffices outer space, including Mars, Mercury and Saturn's moon Titan.

Fans of Vonnegut's work certainly love and appreciate this novel, with an emphasis on free will and destiny of man, as fans of satire and science fiction.

I particularly have a sense of humor and satirical elements of the novel. Vonnegut does about the human race in this novel, the reader can not help but laugh and smile on the facts that happen. Vonnegut tends to tell the reader what will happen, butsame time he leaves some things as a total surprise. I am always excited and amazed by the work Vonnegut. In his work "Bagombo Snuff Box: Short Fiction unclaimed" Vonnegut lists eight rules for the story. to apply the last rule, which seems to novels, too, is ... "Give your readers as much information as possible in the shortest possible time, as the reader's full understanding of what is going to have, where and why they could put an end to history itself, should cockroaches eat the last few pages. "

As I work to end any Vonnegut, I immediately look for another. His writing is compelling - has the unique property, very intelligent, deep and fun, but fun and can be assigned. Everyone can understand and pick up Vonnegut novel, I think.

Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. is a noted American writer whose work combines satire, black comedy and science fiction. He is perhaps best known for his 1969 novel, Slaughterhouse-Five, a knownRevisiting the nature of his experience as a POW in Dresden during the bombing of his town.

The Sirens of Titan is an interesting story exciting, satirical elements and philosophical ideas presented on religion, free will and destiny. It 'a fun read, with a great story, and at the same time, you really think about some elements of life.

The Sirens of Titan is one of my favorite Vonnegut novels, mainly because of its quality Entertainmentcombined with philosophical issues. It shows great talent Vonnegut to write.
