Cussler has displayed his love for cars by giving an inclusion of fast cars and other speed machines like Mercedes, Simplex, Rolls-Royce limousine and Locomobile gives the story an animation. Cussler himself is a collector of classic automobiles. He currently owns 85 of the finest examples of custom coachwork and 50's convertibles to be found anywhere.

The Chase is considered one of the best works of Cussler till date. However, it is detailed and precise, it is meant for quick readers. And, of course, some games we talkmore than others.

But the downside, you do not have many of these games elsewhere. In this sense they are original and unique. I was really with the level of imagination and creativity are happy when it comes to these games.

One thing that I have come to associate with Candace Bushnell during the course of the years that I have been reading her work is that she never ceases to amaze you. While the characters who star within the pages of Sex and the City, Lipstick Jungle, Trading Up, and 4 Blondes all share common traits and characteristics; not a single one of them has mimicked another, where you feel as if their persona has been done before. Each and every one of them has a uniqueness about their personality, even if it's just a single trait, that sets them apart from one another, and keeps the storyline fresh, fun, and fabulous - as visible within One Fifth Avenue.

As per usual, Bushnell has crafted a story not unlike a soap opera, with an eclectic cast, all of whom draw out such powerful emotions in the reader, making you feel as if you are a part of the story; something that doesn't happen everyday. You love them, you loathe them, you want to see them fail, you want to see them succeed. Bushnell brings these people to life in a way that makes them seem real. As if you'll pass them in the hallway on your way to the office or the corner store. They are not simply characters, they are true individuals; and it is that quality that keeps you turning the pages. Stock up on supplies; you won't be leaving the house until you've read every last word!

Laurel Young is a medical doctor who is the Handler for a number of the Paladins. When they are mortally wounded, she guides them back to life and takes care of them through their recovery. If a Paladin can't recover and becomes like an Other, Dr. Young must end his life.

A hallmark of being a Paladin and a Handler is emotional detachment. Dr. Young, however, seems to really care about all of the Paladins in her care, especially Devlin Bane.

While we learn the basics about the war being fought against the Others and about the Paladins, this is first a terrific romance. I really enjoyed how Devlin Bane and Dr. Young deal with the taboos concerning the involvement of Paladins and their Handlers. I rooted for them all the way! In addition, I liked meeting some of the other Paladins (who will later have their own books). The mystery surrounding Devlin Bane is well set up and interesting. This is a terrific start to the Paladins of Darkness series.
